Delete a client underwriter

Delete a single client underwriter by its Kalepa row UUID or by your own external_id (auto-detected by shape; use id_type to force it, and org_group / sub_org_group to select a scope when targeting by external_id).

Path Params
string
required
length ≥ 1

Identifies the row to target: either its Kalepa row UUID (the id returned when the row is created) or your own natural identifier for the row (external_id, or client_broker_id for brokers). The value is auto-detected by shape — a UUID-shaped value is treated as the row UUID, anything else as your natural identifier. Use the id_type query parameter to force the interpretation, and org_group / sub_org_group to disambiguate a natural identifier that is reused across groups. URL-encode reserved characters (e.g. a space as %20); a natural identifier containing a forward slash (/) cannot be used in the path. Target such rows by identifier through the endpoints that carry it in the query string or request body instead: to read, use the list endpoint's exact-match natural-id query filter (external_id, or client_broker_id for brokers); to update, use the bulk upsert endpoint; to delete, use the bulk delete endpoint.

Query Params
string

Limit the request to this org group. Omit it to use all records your API client can access.

string

Limit the request to this sub org group. Omit it to use all sub org groups.

string
enum

Overrides how the path identifier on single-item routes is interpreted: uuid (the Kalepa row UUID) or external_id (your own natural identifier — this value applies to all resources, including the broker resource whose natural key is client_broker_id). Omit for auto-detect (a UUID-shaped value is treated as uuid, otherwise as your natural identifier). Set external_id when your identifier is itself UUID-shaped and would otherwise be read as a row UUID.

Ambiguous identifier — the supplied external_id matches more than one row in the resolved scope (error code AMBIGUOUS_IDENTIFIER). Narrow with org_group / sub_org_group, or target the row by its UUID.
